Product Description
Polylactic acid (PLA) is a new type of bio-based and renewable biodegradable material made from starch derived from renewable plant resources (such as corn, cassava, etc.). Starch raw materials through saccharification to obtain glucose, and then from glucose and a certain strain fermentation to produce high purity lactic acid, and then through chemical synthesis method to synthesize a certain molecular weight of polylactic acid. It has good biodegradability, and can be completely degraded by microorganisms in nature under specific conditions after use, and eventually generate carbon dioxide and water, which does not pollute the environment, which is very beneficial to the protection of the environment, and is recognized as an environmentally friendly material.
What are the distinction between PLA and PBAT ?
1. Different densities:
1. pbat:
The pbat density is between 1.18g/ml and 1.3g/ml.
2. pla:
pbat density is 1.25-1.28g/cm.
2. Different characteristics:
1. pbat:
pbat has the characteristics of both PBA and PBT, with good ductility and elongation at break, as well as good heat resistance and impact performance. In addition, it also has excellent biodegradability
2. pla:
pla has good thermal stability, processing temperature 170 ~ 230ºC, has good solvent resistance, can be processed in a variety of ways, such as extrusion, spinning, biaxial stretching, injection blow molding. In addition to being biodegradable, products made from pla have good biocompatibility, gloss, transparency, feel and heat resistance.
What is the advantages and uses of PLA granules ?
polylactide, also known as polylactide, belongs to the polyester family. Polylactic acid is a polymer obtained by polymerization of lactic acid as the main raw material. The raw material source is sufficient and can be regenerated, mainly from corn and cassava. The production process of polylactic acid is pollution-free, and the product can be biodegradable and realize the circulation in nature, so it is an ideal green polymer material.

2.Storage:
The resin should be stored in a drafty, dry warehouse and away from fire and direct sunlight. It should not be piled up in the open air.

During transportation, the product should not be exposed to strong sunlight or rain and should not be transported together with sand, soil, scrap metal, coal or glass. Transportation together with toxic, corrosive and flammable substance is strictly prohibited.
