Product Description
Ethylene Acrylic Acid (EAA) is a polymer with thermoplastic and extremely high adhesive properties. EAA has high transparency and toughness, reducing melting and softening points. When the MI is the same, as the AA content increases, the transparency, toughness, adhesion, and resistance to environmental stress cracking of EAA will increase; On the contrary, its rigidity, wet steam transmittance, creep resistance, and chemical resistance will be better. When the AA content is the same, with the increase of MI, the adhesion and processability of EAA will be better; On the contrary, its toughness and resistance to environmental stress cracking will increase.

1) Packaging: Extrusion coating is used to produce beverage paper boxes, toothpaste tubes, cable shielding layers, etc. Meanwhile, EAA also has protective effects such as tear resistance, puncture resistance, and anti-corrosion;
2) Powder coating: EAA powder can be sprayed on the surface of materials such as pipes, steel, non-woven fabrics, etc., as a anti-corrosion material;
3) Hot melt adhesive: High performance and high MI EAA can produce hot melt adhesive for difficult to adhere materials;
4) Waterborne solvent: EAA with high AA content and high MI can dissolve in hot alkaline solutions under appropriate reaction conditions, and can be used to prepare water-based adhesives for clothing materials, etc;
5) Degradable and environmentally friendly materials: Blending EAA with starch based materials can produce degradable plastics.
